Regular Season Begins Monday, November 92009-11-08
While a few regular season games were scheduled Nov 3-6, regular season officially kicks off Monday, November 9.
Regular season runs Nov 9, 2009 through February 7, 2010, with playoffs and playdowns running February 15 - March 7, 2010. Provincials will be held March 25-28 (the last weekend in March), and the SCFHF League Championship games will be held Sunday, March 21 (the Sunday at the end of March Break).
All teams are reminded to keep a close eye on the schedule. We will be working hard this year to ensure all games get played as scheduled. Where games have to be rescheduled, this will be coordinated as quickly as possible.
Teams are reminded that games can only be rescheduled for reasons of illness or weather. If your team has tournaments they plan to attend, please contact your Divisional Coordinator and discuss this with them. We want to encourage all teams to take advantage of the development opportunities that tournaments present, but we also have a responsibility to see that all games are played before the end of regular season. Travel to tournaments is not officially recognized by SCFHF as a reason for missing scheduled games, so you need to help us get the schedule arranged well in advance by discussing your tournament plans with your Divisional schedule coordinator (as listed under Executive on this website).
